HOLIDAY FLYER how long will it be

bought at Other Music , back in the late winter of 2003, out of a sale-bin. the charming girl behind the desk got pale when holding the 7" in her hands, having obviously overlooked it.

my brother F. and i had been visiting friends in nyc, that is: spending half of our time in record stores. he discovered one place that was exclusively selling sealed first pressings from the 50ies to the 70ies, and got there a sealed Blue lp from Joni Mitchell.
the day he wanted to show me the store, he couldn't find it. we searched for hours, it was snowing, i was getting really angry. we had to leave town soon, so i never went into the holy grail.

Holiday Flyer are my personal twee-pop faves. here they share the vinyl with Beanpole - Rocketship's Verna Brock solo project. she's also playing on some HF-releases.
